Ok, I've had enough of broken watches. As mentioned elsewhere, my Seiko Diver's bezel has broken and needs to go back to Seiko for repair (apparently they need to see it before they'll let me know if it's covered under warranty rolleyes )

Anyway, I do a lot of watersports and although I would usually tuck my watch under my wetsuit cuff, I'm not convinced they are up to surfing, falling off a wakeboard at high speed etc.

As a result, I've decided that I may as well bight the bullet and get a G-Shock as they are meant to be tough. The Gulfman seems the obvious choice but I have a couple questions:

1) Will it withstand high speed water impacts?

2) Is the strap long enough to go round a wetsuit cuff or will I have to tuck it under?

3) Where is the best place to buy one? I've found here but not sure if this is the most up to date model or not?

4) Is the radio controlled clock function a must have as the Gulfman doesn't seem to have that?

5) Any better alternatives? Think about the same price as I want something I won't be pissed about losing!

Thank you...
