Hi

Right so I need to send some flowers to my other half. No I have not cheated on her. Not being the mushy type I need to write something in the card bearing in mind the whole family will be reading it. I want it to be sweet but not overly romantic. Any suggestions?

She's not with you for your confidence and independent thoughts I take it?

You know her better than a bunch of internet bods (I hope! wink ) - write something that means something to her. If her family read it that's great. They might think you, you know, quite, sort of, like her...

Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you.
But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar bowl's
empty and so is your head.

Go for simple

"Thinking of you. Love fizz876 xxx"

or for the brave

"Tonight there is no safe word. Love fizz876"

The day after MrsC & I first did the nasty, when, perhaps, we ought not to have, I sent her a bunch of flowers and just wrote in the card "oops!"

It was VERY well received, which probably goes some way towards explaining why she is, indeed, now MrsC!
