Anyone else do this? Bored as fk in work, nothing to do, cant be bothered to do much, so collect up all the clickable pens on your desk, and see which one you can get the highest in the air.

I am finding that the really uncomfy pens seem to get the best distance, but lack in comfort
Comfy pens are usually heavy and get no very little distance
Those pens which lock down and need a button pressed to release it usually end up going sideways

Might go find a ruler actually and see which is the best uncomfy pen, maybe even go onto penisland.com and see if they have any reccomendations

I have a variety of things on my desk that I often fiddle with when bored. Currently I have:

  • A broken cable tie (this is my current favorite toy).
  • A rubber band.
  • A few pens.

Years ago whilst working in a dull job I managed to make a plane out of bits laying around the office including pens, rubber bands, rulers and anything else that was useful.

I tend to go to a mates desk, empty out all his paperclips, join them together, then put them back.

Our's does .... bored enough to try it!

+1 for cable ties from me although throwing a table tennis ball at the panel at the back of my dek makes me feel like Steve McQueen in The Great Escape which often whiles away 2 or 3 minutes.

Ours does as well.

Last shift I was so bored one night, I watched all 4 Indiana Jones films. (Actually, I slept through most of the Holy Grail one.)
