what to do......
Discussion
I'm working my 2 month notice and cant be arsed with working at 100%..... I'll go along with a nice leisurely 10% work rate however I think that my employer actually expect less! lol
I need something to do! I am that bored i have actually cleared my desk and done 'some' work!!! This just isn't on!

speed monkey have some decency and work reasonably hard to the end.
you never know when you may need references and you may come across these people in future.
The monkey sex thing is a little childish imho.
Still, enjoy your travelling - sounds like you are looking forward to it
The thing is, I am usually stacked up to the eye balls mate and TBH I am usually a hard worker (makes the day go quicker).you never know when you may need references and you may come across these people in future.

but my employer has reduced my work load quite significantly due to the fact my role includes building close relationships with customers and if I am going in two month my boss wants the relationships to be with someone who will be here if that makes sense.
So I have the role of answering phones and generally menial tasks.
ETA: the monkey sex thing is not an unheard of occurance from everyone in the office, along with a LOT more worse things, dangers of going to the toilet leaving your computer unlocked
I suppose this office is pretty laid back though and has quite a jovial attitude though which is uncommon.Edited by speed_monkey on Wednesday 12th August 14:01

Think yourself VERY lucky and enjoy it (sounds like you are) because when you end up in a quiet, staid office, you start wanting to install a f
king jukebox to liven the stiffs up a bit.For that reason I _really_ miss my old job and am looking forward to leaving this office as it is just sooo quiet most of the time which is just dull and depressing.
oh and BTW... Windows+L is a really quick way to lock the PC

Always lock the computer if leaving the desk for more than five seconds, I have had IM's from my computer made to the office bike which had potential for making things uncomfortable...... no shes not fit

Doh, that'll teach me for trying to be clever, got you mixed up with Speed_Demon, his mate blew his Clio Sport's gearbox to pieces the other day after shifting from 5th to 2nd at around 90mph!
But no I am not a spoon who would associate with retards of that calibre

Oh and one of the tings I have done so far is gone round the office to everyones computer when they are away, googles "monkey sex" and set the most obscene image as "back ground"
A better one is to set their desktop as their background and then remove all icons off their desktop. They're left with a desktop that looks like their desktop but of course when they click on any icons it doesn't work. The times I've got others to call the service desk are untrue.

Ctrl + Alt + Delete then enter works for me
Works for me too but Win+L is way easier and quicker.
Back to te subject in hand - are you allowed to listen to headphones at work? Thank goodness we are, Youtube and bringing a USB stick loaded with MP3s will be one of the few things I will miss about working here.
