Got my Tuscan last week, first issue I need to deal with is that the LCD display continuously shows a warning that reads oil temperature -30 oC. I'm assuming this is a loose/faulty sensor but can anyone give me guidance on how to check this and/or solve?

Thanks in advance.

Is it constant, or intermittant? I ask because I have a Temp related problem with my pod, on hot days or when stuck in traffic, I get wrong oil/water temps finaly culminating in a black LCD screen, with all the gear change LED's on. leave her to cool down and all returns as normal.

Oh and by the way, welcome to the world of huge grins.

The oil temperature sensor is fitted in the bottom of the oil tank:-

The problem was constant from the moment I started the engine. I've just got the bonnet off and fiddled with the sensor wire (Thanks for the pic NCE 61, very helpful!) and discovered that it is just a loose connection, looks like the wire was left with insufficient slack on it.

Now to finding a new sensor and then trying to fit it!
