We are organising a meet for the Bristol Region of the TVRCC and had a vineyard booked for a tour, tasting and lunch, but have been let down as the owner has decided to cancel our booking in favour of a bigger party furious

I wonder if any of you have any suggestions for a location to do some "not so serious" wine tasting with lunch, ideally with some good roads too (we had originally planned to go towards Leominster via the Brecon Beacons). Perhaps a pub who can put on a bit of a wine tasting session or if any of you are an expert in the field and can suggest a location for a giggle with other petrolheads!?

Obviously as a car club we don't have any budget up front as such but we can have a fee per person to cover the cost of it all, as long as it's not too much! (obviously some people will be driving, so not drinking!)

Any other interesting suggestions will be greatly received, we had advertised the event as wine related but anything of interest could be used either this time, or in the future.

Cheers in advance

It's probably not fair to name and shame on here, the manager was very apologetic but the owner over-ruled them so nothing they could do.

There aren't many vineyards that open on a Sunday and are actually producing wine at the moment, which is our problem. Any suggestions for good pubs in the Hereford/Breckon/Ross on Wye area would be good though.
