Just a quick heads up...

The next Pistonheads ‘Un Massif Bridge to Ventoux’ (MBV) tour is just 6 weeks away. Next year Petrolhead Nirvana will be launching a number of new tours next year on behalf of Pistonheads, so this could be your last chance for a while to take part in this legendary trip!

The MBV takes in some amazing French ‘B’ roads right from the start, heading down into the scenic Massif Central, taking in stunning gorges and passes. You’ll be staying in beautiful hotels and Chateaux, and of course visiting the highest and arguably most beautiful bridge in the world – Le Viaduc de Millau. Plus, as if that wasn’t enough, we also take in one of the world’s best driving roads, the awesome Mont Ventoux.

It’s a special stage of the Tour De France, around 14 miles, ascending 1,910 feet up a mountain with a perfect road surface and perfect camber thanks to that bicycle race. The last time we did it we drove up and down the mountain four times – just because it was so much fun!

Whet your appetite? Look at the YouTube video here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dh4_eg5KFvU

You can also read feedback from the last tour here.... http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

You’ll find that we’ve included pretty much everything on this tour – delicious breakfasts and gourmet dinners every night (you only pay for your drinks); return Eurotunnel crossings; detailed Sat Nav files; the loan of powerful walkie talkies; and a comprehensive drivers’ pack which includes route notes/maps, driver notes, important contact details and loads of other useful information. You’ll be accompanied by a tour manager and both lead and chase cars, at least one of which will carry a toolkit and first aid kit. Having two cars on tour means getting lost is not an option – neither is getting left behind.

But that’s not the best bit. The best bit is that thanks to the pound’s recovery against the euro, this tour of a lifetime just got cheaper. And we’re going to pass on all the savings we’ve made to you. That means that prices have come down by £70 per person (from £767 to £697 based on two people sharing a room coming in one car). That represents stunning value for money for 5 glorious days and 4 luxurious nights of pure driving nirvana.

For other pricing options or to book please go to the tour page.....

contact the Petrolhead Nirvana Team on 0845 838 7363 or email us at info@petrolheadnirvana.com for more info.

Driving some of the best roads in Europe is a lot of fun, doing it in the company of 15 other like minded petrolheads takes it to a whole other level, as everyone who went to Scotland last month will agree, i'm sure... biggrin

All you need is lunch, fuel, tolls, and drinks hehe

It's actually the Viking jobbie I most like the sound of, I could however recommend loads of places around Death Valley and Las Vegas from when we went a few times years ago. Will be interesting to see more details and prices!

Norway is a must do for me so interested in that, was looked at doing it this year on self organised but they pulled the ferry routes. What are the plans for getting cars over the Pete or is it a drive round from Holland job?

Still investigating routes for time versus value for money, but we're trying to get to Norway quickly to maximise our time there biggrin

Looks like a lot of people are missing the Newcastle to Stavenger ferry...

it is fun...although you tend to find they have a really good reaction to us.
they dont see many sports/supercars out there so the reaction is normally positive.

having said that, that is next year, the Millau tour is next month....what's your excuse for not dipping your toe in on this one?

you know how good it's going to be if Pete's got anything to do with it!
