VXR8 Lamp glass cracked - how fix?
Discussion
I've a cracked glass on this lamp and I've seen the lamp full of water. Can I just replace the glass (or even remove it, glue it) or does the whole part need repalcing? How do I get to it to remove?
Advice appreciated, thanks.

Hi, your image has not come out, but I assume you mean the large driving light branded HSV. I broke one of mine within a few weeks of ownership. VX at the time quoted me £140 but did not have any in stock (mind you that was two years ago) but Tim the pool man got me one in Aus and sent it over. PS its a sealed unit, very easy to replace............Just remove the inner arch liner.
Thats why I now have the light covers fitted..

I've been fiddling about trying to post the image - the preview was Ok.
What are these covers? I'm doing 85 miles a day so am bound to get a few stones come up.
Also, how do I get the lamp out? I too have only had the car a few months.
Thanks, Steve

You can get the covers from Walkinshaw Performance.....just remove the inner arch liner two bolts one connection and you are there...
Gives you some idea of what they look like.
