Thinking of taking a long weekend hooning around somewhere and was going to drive over to Wales. The weather looks ok'ish but looks better on the east coast.

Never really been over to that lump on the east coast so just wondered what the roads/area was like ? Is it all flat and boring or are there a few hidden jewels ?

If you come this way take the coast road from Cromer up to Sandringham house... The road is nice and windy with a few blips (not quite rolling hills though) some nice little straights to over take the old fudgers etc, some spectacular scenery too of the North Norfolk coast... Like wise, the drive from Lowestoft/ish down to Aldeburgh is also a lovely drive but make sure you take time to stop off in Aldeburgh if you like fish and chips (they are awesome)... Going in land some of the A and B roads are also great in mid-Norfolk, there is always something nice to see if you've never been this way before, some very picturesque villages and pubs... Haver to say we done a similar thing last week when we went down to Southampton, had to go to Gatwick 1st but from there we cut across country down to Southhamton, saw some aswesome roads and country side etc much better and more fun than the old motorways... driving

P.S. If you dont have to, dont worry to much about a visit to Yarmouth!!! Though the kids love it...

P.S. P.S. Have you anywhere to stay if you come this way??? If not let me know and the wife might be able to get you into a nice Holiday Inn in Norwich with a very good rate smokin
