Errumm. How does the water punp leak. Its two dirty great bits of metal sandwiched together. The bolts at the end are basically keeping everything together, water pump, pas and oil pump.

Unless the casings cracked I don't see there is anywhere to leak from. Where exactly is it leaking from ??

Water is leaking from the water pump where it connects to the power steering pump on the underside there is a very small D shaped opening. Looking from below it is leaking between where the two pipes that are connected to power steering pump and bottom alan key bolt on the back of the waterpump, Looking at the picture draw a line across the middle of the picture from left to right and its dripping from right hand side between the two pumps.

I have a water pump in bits in the garage. I'll have a look tomorrow but I would just do up the two end bolts and keep your fingers crossed smile. I'll check tomorrow.

Very limited room when looking for the leak today couldnt see the bolts you mentioned where are they and how do they stop the leak ???. All i could see is whats on the photo due to alloy plate on the underside and the chassi. Not the best place to work on thats why i am letting Track R Road take the motor out to repair the pump there ex TVR staff they know more than me would blow a gasket if i took the motor out repaired the pump and it still leaked horses for coarses hey

That's a bit of a pain in the ass.

Who did the clutch though as they didn't need to take the engine out to change that (unless you had other stuff done too) so that could have saved you some money.

With the WP I don't think you have a choice, although plasticman seems to think you can access the front end without pulling the engine and I have no reason not to believe him.

Engine came out to change exhaust manifolds as they were badly cracked as well as clutch
