Mini in the Park

Did go though I enjoyed it thought was quite a good show and were some very very fast mini's was one pretty normal looking one run a 11.7 at 117mph which mush have surprised a few things. The weather was excellent and it seemed to have a very good turn out was a lot more cars there than I expected and thought the jet car was amazing to view even though it did hurt my ears slightly. Finally as an added bonus managed to pick my new 4 pots up so overall was a very good day out

i wish id have seen this befor too, it would have been great to have met you and guru. I was there saturday and sunday, i bought a new rear subframe, a pair of radius arms (recons), rear backplate and brake assembly ready built, a guy donated my subframe mounts to my suprise, he was on the stand where the supercharged engine was for sale, so i got my poly mount bushes. i was like a kid in a sweet shop but couldnt wait to get home and build it. its all put together now and installed to the mini and for the 1st time in 18 months its back on all 4s

carried on today cleaning up ready to prep in and out but found a few more holes, so i had to get chopping agen

just replaced the inner and outer sills near side





unfortunatly its a poor mans restoration its never gonna be 100% but ill put a good few years of fun bak into her.
