I have a friend with an M6 who after a Nurburgring trip is determined to upgrade to ceramic brakes.

The local dealer got very flustered at this request and did not know what to do! Personally, I think that he would be better off with an aftermarket kit.

Can anyone please point us in the right direction?

Thanks!

The 'ring is not a brake heavy circuit so what on earth was your friend in his M6 doing???

The best kits would include AP, Movit.de (A very high end German OEM supplier of parts), Brembo, Alcon (for a bespoke kit), Stop Tech maybe or phone CA Automotive for a chat. Alpina may also be worth a shout but could be very expensive....

Probably a Brembo option or the like is more than adequate. I ran an M6 at the RIng and the brakes were not great after a dozen laps to be honest. If I were making a habit of going there I would go for a brake upgrade, but ceramics seem like a bit of overkill, and expensive at that.
