and he has to sit in the middle one!

5 am, Christmas morning, not another car in sight ... apart from the numpty doing 55 in the middle lane of the M3.

made a point of swinging out from the inside lane (I was in the Jeep), across his stern into the outside lane, then across his bows back into the inside lane.

When I lost sight of him in my rear-view mirror he was still in the middle lane all on his own!

Merry Christmas DH!

I had the pleasure of joining the A14 from the A45 last night at 35mph. Driving up the slip road that is not wide enough to overtake on (single lane) and I'm stuck behind Mr Careful who decides that joining 70-80mph traffic at 35-40mph is fine. I found this most scary and was bracing myself for a rear end hit from a car. Luckily I managed to get up some pace as I was doing the 35-40mph in 2nd gear ready to change to the outside lane and overtake the moron asap and there was no one coming.

Speed kills? I think lack of speed could have killed me there too!
