Rear bumper bracket
Discussion
Just been washing my series 350i and noticed the back bumper is loose on one side.
After quick feel from underneath it appears that the metal bracket has rusted away.
Is this an easy fix, I can't find a threads or photos about this.
Just wondered what to expect when I get round to sorting it out.
Thanks
Danny

When mine went I took it to the local welder who matched it (no tools to do it myself). Off the shelf sections and easy. Rust proofed and paint and back on the car in a jiffy.
Edit if memory serves then there is an angle to watch out for in the assembly to hang the bumper right.

Danny, I spotted another 350i at wedgefest that looks like it's going the same way!
I did mine, and fabricated some brackets with stainless, though you could use mild steel sheet, or even suare tubing and sheet.
There is a post about it, just use the new search facility which I'll bump again.
