And got a black V8V coupe. After months of looking, touching, feeling, driving........finally done the deal and can now dream....woohoo
07MY with most options except premium audio (not soooooo sad, seeing that the windows will be down for long periods biggrinbiggrin
Just need to pick her up next week, cannot wait, it's all a bit of a fuzz at the mo.
Need to get stone guards fitted and a crowbar to the number plate mount, is it the X-type mount I need or fit straight to the bumper?
Hope to see you guy's out on the Surrey roads someday.....

You can use either the plate surround type of mounting (which I have) or fix direct to the car with sticky pads.

Remember not to put it too low (and many do) as the oil cooler is behind the lower grille ...

The plate mount's easy to remove (and surprisingly weighty for what it is).

Just stick your plate to the bumper smile

agreed seen all the combinations, always look best fitted straight onto the bumper imho

Welcome to the club!

What's the best way of sticking the plate to the bumper?
Sticky pads? Does the plate not fall of at speed?

Thanks Angel

Screws sound somewhat safer and moew secure versus sticky pads

When I get a spare weekend will have to go and modify the front plate on mine

Thanks to you all, it looks like the pick up is going to be Wednesday. Once the plate and guards are fitted i'll attempt to upload some pictures. XXXAngelXXX, it looks like you have not gone flush with the bumper with your plate, was this by choice or did you take some good advice (with the oil cooler down there)?

congratulations! i'm in Surrey and will keep my eyes out for you. hopefully, you're friendlier than the 2 DB9's i saw yesterday who didn't respond to my wave/thumbs up gesture. maybe they just didn't see me in my diddy little baby Aston!
