Hi,

Just thought I'd say Hi. Picked up Kyle's old car yesterday and haven't stopped smiling and laughing since. Its an awesome car and I keep having to remind myself that its mine, as it all seems a bit like a dream.

Only problem is I need to re-profile my drive to stop the exhaust catching. But that's just a minor thing, its currently got paving slabs and gravel thrown on it.

Just been out with the family and its got their full approval, baby seat in the back, son shouting to go faster, wife dropping the window every time I accelerate.

See ya off to burble and pop biggrin

Dave.

Wow, supercharged smile, how much power?

Also I know it might be a stupid question,- but did you put stuff in the back to increase grip? Just asking because I used to do similar things in Zambia, but that was in a Pick up going severe off road.

Ciscas,

I've got dyno sheets that say its 608bhp, all I know is, its quick enough for me.

Not a bad introduction to my first RWD car biggrin

Oh and extra weight, have you seen the size of the boot on these things, even using lead it would only add about 30 grams wink

Hi Dave,

Good to see you on here.

Glad you like her. I had the exact same feeling when I first jumped in and drove her, feels like you're driving a million dollors.

Great wow factor and will without a doubt deliver a great deal of fun and enjoyment.

Outstanding all round car. Never ceased to amaze me or bring a smile to my face.

Was very gutted to see (AND HEAR - WOW!!!) her go, but I know she has gone to a good home.

Dave is a top bloke guys, thumbs up mate! ;-p

Thanks Kyle, I thought after fueling up I'd give her a few revs past your house, just so you could hear it one last time smile

Yup... I thought I heard it again after you had left. lol.

I was inside the house and heard it loud and clear!

What do you think is louder on WOT? The exhaust or the supercharger? I could never quite decide rolleyes

I have to admit though, the driver's cabin must be extremely well sound proofed.
As I didn't quite realise how loud and nice her exhaust note actually was to a pedestrian during a drive by - as I was always the one driving her.
Was nice to be on the receiving end for a change. Left me gob-smacked. lol.

Hi Dave and welcome. Know what you mean about tunnel driving. Went to my local town this evening and went under a fairly long bridge (100ft or so) 2nd gear, mash pedal to carpet. Effing awesome innit. Oh the noise.....

Oh yes, WOT through a tunnel is worth buying the car for, everything else is just a bonus.

Thats fine, you will be please to know that the car scared people at pvs2009 while on the dyno, the crowd of people in front of the car soon cleared once the revs started to rise.
