just brought another cerbera all the way back from dublin, 450 miles and all went well, long day though!. went out to the car last night and found a small puddle of clear slighly oilly fluid dripping from bottom of the front bumper, thought it was water at first but has an oilly feel to it. seems to be coming from the drivers side radiator area, don't think it power steering fluid because that needs changing and is a bit dirty (job for tomorrow), this is very clear almost like brake fluid, anyone got any ideas??

also wipers don't seem to work quite right, they only seem to sweep at normal speed, no intermitent or fast speed and tricky to turn off or to get them to park at the bottom of the screen??

Were you driving the car hard? It could be oil that has found its way from the catch can forward to the airbox - which will then drip down to the bumper. Common on standard cars that have been spanked a bit,

Yes, as above , I think it will be oil, you can sometimes see some on the cover panel after a hard run . Don't think it's anything to worry about.

Im not sure, just the one i presume for the aircon, unless the cerb runs a seperate front mounted oil cooler? (i have a tuscan not cerb)

Check the pipes properly, my last car jumped all the refridgerant and it was actually a perished hose on the high pressure side. When the pump was running the pipe would ouz pretty much all along its length.

The aircon radiator , if fitted, is on the front nearside, the drier is fitted in the nearside front wheel arch under the headlight. Fluid can gather in the flat area in front of the radiator and drip from either side depending on how level the car is sitting, there is a small drain hole each side.

Sounds like a lot of car for the money! Carpets are cheap.

Irish or UK reg? What year? Engine?

Its funny, there aren't many here, we tend to 'know' about them, but that one must have slipped through the net.

Hope it goes well for you!

on uk plates 1997 p reg 4.2, will post a pic on profile in next few days, i think location and carpets were putting people off. i was a bit worried about the journey myself its a long way back to kent, left kent at 04:30 and got back at 22:00, didn't book ferry so just took a gamble and turned up at the dock, they only just squeezed me on with 10 minutes to go.

Well done you, looking fwd to seeing. I was wondering if it was my old one, that was a 4.2 R reg though. You'd know it because I had two Focal tweeters in the doors.

Had i known, I could have gone to look at it for you, I was in Dundalk last week!
