Indicator stick and hazard button not working
Discussion
Hello everyone (again!) and a quick one which I think the more experienced forum posters will be able to help out with really easily [hopefully!]
The inidicator stick and the hazard button aren't working on my car, even though I have checked (and changed anyway) the 20A fuse for the indicators, and know that the lights themselves are working as they are triggered correctly by the alarm etc.
Does this sound like a connnector has come unplugged from the "PCB board under the steering wheel which you have to lie in the footwell with a torch to see"?

Second quick question:
Also I think the driver's door closed sensor isn't triggering correctly as occassionally the lights stay on.
Is it simply a magnet in the body that triggers the switch in the door to indicate closed?
The door is new so they may not be aligning up properly etc.
Many thanks for any tips!!

You guessed correctly on the indicator problem. you'll have to get your head in the footwell I'm afraid. There's a small multi pin connector that plugs into a PCB on the underside of the steering column.
Try adjusting the door so it closes tighter, loosen off the 3 Allen keys on the striker plate on the door pillar, and push it in slightly, tighten up and keep adjusting until the door shuts and the lights do go out.
