Carpet underlay

Hi,
Had a leak in the drivers side floor in my Chimaera and have removed the seat and fixed the problem but the carpet underlay stinks of damp. It's white foam covered in thin cloth. I don't know if this is standard.
Can anyone suggest a replacement material or a supplier for same.

I used a crushed rubber underlay on mine. Think I paid about 3 quid for it from the local carpet store and then used contact adhesive to fix it. Worked fine for me.
