Just returned from my trip to the areshole of the country (London) and my trip to see You Have Been Watching being filmed live.
And it was excellent, if anyone has the chance to go and see it I highly recomend it, especially as it's free!!!!
Charlie Brooker is just superb, really funny live, good improv' and banter. Holly Walsh and Ben Miller were pretty weak guests but David Mitchell is a comedy genius.
The banter between Brooker and Mitchell was hilarious with Mitchell making Brooker look very foolish on a couple of occasions. David Mitchell is genuienly very quick witted, has great comedy timing and can real off put down, rants and insults with the best stand-ups. In the bit at the end were they do the re-records they even tried to re-record a bit were Mitchell made Brooker look like a right tool but he refused and then did it deleberatly bady so they would have to leave in the original version (much to the crowds approval
I really do hope that Mitchell and Brooker collaberate on a proper comedy sometime as they work excellenty together.
Anyway a great night out and I highly recomend watching the show on Tuesday if only to see..........
