greatest rally game ever?

for me richard burns rally is the greatest rally game of all time. but what do you guys think?

Rallisport Challenge 2 on the xbox. Has to be for me, due to the replay value. BTW I'm not saying it was in any way realistic.

maybe we should have a poll. someone else will have to make it im not very good at this stuff. if you want your game in your poll just state the name of the game and platform, and maybe why you chose it
i chose richard burns rally as it is the most realistic and the force feekback on the steering wheel is awesome!

Yep. I had it on the playstation. Best rally game I've ever played. I've never played RB rally but have heard lots of good things about it.

Mobil 1 Rally Championship on the PC (circa 2000 by Magnetic Fields) was and still is superb. Was out done by Richard Burns rally though which is excellent. Both I think are still availble.

The Colin McRae games are great but tend to lean towards the arcade side rather than a pure sim.

Its a real shame there is no really good rally sims out there at the moment. It'll be interesting to see which way GT5 takes the WRC licence, proper stages or arcade loops and circuits...

Played most of the above, but for some reason, the ones which really grabbed me were the WRC titles on the PS2.I can't remember which was the last one I played, but it really sucked me in and had great graphics, great game mechanics and some great cars.

I would say one of the Colin McRae games as the Richard Burns one was too hard for me to enjoy.

Colin Mcrae rally 2.0 on PC is an obvious one.
But also V-Rally was quite good in its day, so that gets my second vote.

Originally it was Screamer Rally, then Colin McRae 2 was the best, now it's still Richard Burns Rally.

WRC II for the ps2 was good too.
