Whats the difference between them all?
When I search for piccies of them they all come up with the same one. I know the T400R and T440R are the same apart from the engine, but the Tuscan R?
Thanks
Andy

Ok, The T400R Tuscan doesn't have a Supercharged, The T440R doesn't have a Supercharger, But the Typhon does have a Supercharger which is the Tuscan R cause It hasn't got one. Hope this helps

TVR chose the Tuscan R when they first starting development but realised they needed to differentiate so called it the T400R and T440R.

Then they decided to give it a real name for the Supercharged version - Typhon

Typhon(that has a Supercharger) = Tuscan R because it hasn't got one......What do you mean by that?

Also the Tuscan R is now called the Typhon then?

Oh I think i get it now, silly me

T400R/T440R used to be called Tuscan R in development but changed it. And the Supercharged Version is The Typhon?
And the difference between the T400R and T440R is jus the engine?

The T400 is the LeMans car due to restrictions placed on the team as they haven't raced before or something like that. The T440 is the name given to the homolgomation (sp?) version of the LeMans car.

They then developed these cars into the Typhon which is what you can now buy.

James here:

You can buy all of them!

Just to recap-

Tuscan R - was the name given to the car during development.

T400/T440 R - the customer version of the Le Mans car the Tuscan R name now dropped in favour of T400/440R. The only differences between the two are 40bhp oh and £5k.

Typhon - A recently released version of the same car with the benefit of a supercharged twin intercooled verison of the engine producing 500bhp (I beleive the intension is to develop upto 550bhp) oh and another £5k

Hope that helps. Cann't wait to spec my T440R

I thought you could either specify rear seats or a "Touring" fuel tank???
