interchangability of zetec cylinder heads??
Discussion
It should be fairly straightforward. You'll have to check for piston to valve clearance and maybe enlarge the cutouts in the pistons because the solid lifter head has 1mm bigger valves on both inlet and exhaust than the hydraulic head. CR will also need checking and probably raising somewhat especially if you're going to use longer duration cams. It might be just as easy to get a complete engine as they're not expensive these days. The solid lifter engine also has a much better sump as I recall with baffling already built in.
The heads respond well to porting if done correctly and have about a 10bhp advantage over the hydraulic head due to the bigger valves. 200/210bhp is not a problem with a ported head, mildish cams and TBs or DCOEs.
