I just bought one. It's a Saitek Aviator (AV8R 2). Got it brand new from ebay for £32.
I'll tell you what it's like when it gets here. It's supposed to work with IL2... Whether or not it will work with the demo I don't know.
It's got throttle control, hepas of buttons and I think the rudder control is a twist grip thing.

Finally got round to having a go of this last night with the IL2 demo.
It's pretty good, takes a bit of getting used to it but after 15 minutes or so I was smooth enough (with the in-game control sensitivities at max) to be getting clean, quick kills.
The only slightly annoying thing is that you don't get the option to click the equivalent of the right stick so to change view from cockpit to external to virtual hud you have to pause and go into the game menus.
Small complaint.
Oh and the base could be bigger (for my big hands) and it doesn't have any suckers on the bottom for sticking it to a table or plank of wood across your lap etc.
