I think the conclusion from a previous thread in 2008 on men shaving the pubic region was that it was something done by those who are not well-endowed - Their partners commented on how bigger they looked with the hair removed.

That seems to ignore the logical viewpoint that a girl would probably far more prefer to be sucking on a shaved pole rather than spend time picking pubes out of her teeth.
