As the title says.....anyone know how you take them off?
And also is the rubber trim around the Windscreen and the rear screen just decorative, or is it part of the seal? ie Can I just pull the rubber out and refit it afterwards?

Pull the carpet back that is in front of the door and 4 bolts will become apparent, two per hinge. Its easier to strip the door on the car i think, plus you need to get the electrics disconnected. Its quite straight forward.

The trim strips on the above the screens are just that. Glue them back down with sikaflex/Tiger seal.

Sorry to go off topic slightly, but does anyone have a form of check strap on their doors, or anyway of limiting how far it opens? I have a mark on each door, just by the curved recess caused by the door opening too far and hitting the body.

Cheers Brummie.

Jammy_B - There's a rubber door stop about 2 inches square on the leading edge of the door between the hinges, it pushes against the A pillar when the door is open to cushion the opening and prevent it opening too wide.

The 'Door Stop' is just a square of hard rubber, 20mm x 40mm and 10mm thick, just stuck on (in true TVR fashion) to the inside of the door. So just go out and buy some hard rubber and stick it on - sophisticated huh !! :-)

Apologies for not rotating the pic - I cant be ar$ed, I'm knackered and going to beddy byes.

PS for those who are interested, the doors are bleedin' heavy ! 31.6kgs.
