Anyone else going to U2 @ Hampden
Discussion
Belatedly bought some tickets at the tail end of last week, hacking it down and back after work from Aberdeen. Not looking forward to the journey, but a) have seen U2 in concert before (they were excellent), b) a friend saw this tour in Gothenburg (and said it was excellent).

"there we go, this 1 tree will offset the carbon of 40 trucks criss crossing europe to bring my self righteous brand of washed up MOR rock to the world, nobody elese is allowed to do this though, just me and other rock stars"
You should worry, I'm having to take my missus to see Cliff Richards and the Shadows at SECC in October

We had a couple of tickets but I sold them on for less than face value.
I had some 'canine' and family issues which made it a wee bit difficult.
The thought of a throng of suicidal Celtic supporters and a few thousand ecstatic (SP?) Goonars was the decider not to go.
I'm sure everyone will have a memorable night.
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Eric

There are roadworks on A80/M80 coming in to Glasgow from Stirling and the north
On Saturday first day of football season there was a massive 10mile? tailback so if thats the way you are coming in leave VERY early - Celtic supporters plus U2 traficc could be very heavy
Oh and there are also roadworks at Harthill on M8 cant win can you!
Almost tempted to suggest Train is best option for getting in but watch your times for getting home
