I hope this brings G25 prices down, though, can't quite justify all that money on a replacement for my Driving Force Pro, which spends 90% of the time on the floor, not connected.

Why oh why cant they make it work with the xbox as well?? Must me alot of people with duel systems who will want to play racing games on both but not want to buy 2 wheels and have to keep changing them over to play on the different consuls!

That is a shame! I was waiting for this wheel in the hope that it would be Xbox compatible.

Slightly O/T but is there going to be an 'official' wheel for Forza 3? I hear Forza 3 is now compatible with clutch and H-gate gearboxes on steering wheels?

In all the demos of Forza3 I've seen, they've been using the Fanatec wheel.

The G25 prices have been dropping recently, I've seen one somewhere at £140 somehting IIRC.

And a little while ago Play.com had a deal where you could get one for £100.

Erm, it looks almost identical to the G25 doesn't it?

What's the extra moolah for?

I don't think it'll be that much, IIRC it's $300ish in the US and from the review by Inside Sim Racing (it's on youtube), it's not much of an upgrade from the G25, just a bit more polished.

There doesn't seem to be anything different enough to justify upgrading from my G25...
I think I'd sooner keep the G25 for the PC and buy a Fanatec for the 360!

A shame Logitech, you could have had a sure fire winner on your hands! rolleyes

All the early stuff I read said this would work with the 360, apparently not now though.

Absolutely no reason to upgrade from my G25 that I can see, I'll keep the £300 for other toys.

I'd still agree with what I said.
If I managed to sell my G25 for say £80 (it is absolutely perfect and as new) is the G27 worth £250 extra?
It just doesn't offer enough to make it a worthwhile upgrade in my opinion...
The deletion of the sequential option is definitely a retro step as well!

There is no way it'll retail for £300+, it's only $300 in the US.

Plus it's just an evolution of the G25, why would they charge any more than the original G25 price?

EDIT: still not worth upgrading from a G25.

Have you seen the link in the OP? wink

I'm not saying it's true, but it is there in black and white (at least for now!)!
