Hi all,

Am looking for recommendations please? just back from hol in California where my previously fruit dodging kid's discovered freshly made smoothies and loved them.
Would like to make these at home so would appreciate any info or tips about machines etc?

Cheers

Steve

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-Smoothie-SB307-Pro...

In the time I have ploughed through 3 juicers, this is still going strong.

Couple with something like this....

And the kids wont leave the fruit alone!!

however when they have gone to bed try:

one quarter medium water melon
100g juiced strawberries
100ml fresh lime juice
60ml silver tequila
30ml triple sec
3 teaspoons of sugar

Whack together in the blender with some ice, makes enough for two in those chunky american style tumblers or a pint when the bird is late and your bored!!

A £5 hand blender from Tesco will do just as well as any flash smoothie maker.

Thanks Guys,

Picked up the Kenwood at the weekend, much cheaper at Comet as it turned out. It's a good piece of kit and the now fruit filled kids are delighted with it!

Cheers all,

Steve
