New PH Pop ups!

Has anyone else been experiencing these?
Every now and again today I've been getting full page pop-up adverts while surfing PH. I'm sorry PH, but they are beyond irritating!
One of the adverts was even a mock-up of the Windows "My Computer" folder, with a virus-scanning bar. When I opted to Skip the advert, a Windows warning box flashed up warning me that my computer was prone to virus attack!
Come on guys! Is this type of advertising really on?!

If you are sure this came from PH, could you point the way we will look into it.
It only happened on PH pages - 3 times when I clicked on to the classifieds and twice onto the main "Gassing Station" page.
I restored my computer to an earlier restore point to see if it's anything I'd picked up during a recent programme download.
A virus scan also didn't up anything.
It's happened once since doing that, again on the PH main page.
Two pop ups were for the aforementioned virus scan, one was for free laser eye surgery, and I'm afraid I can't remember the content of other two, as I just skipped them as quickly as possibly through frustration!
My post was somewhat written out of frustration, so apologies as it appears to comes across in an attacking manner!

Hi Darren... I've never seen anything like this on PH and I can only think that you've picked up a nasty somehow. From my limited experience of such things, to be safe, back up all your data now, because once something odd gets in, it usually gets worse each time you boot up. Hopefully you can kill it - if you don't have a tame IT expert try the computing forum. Ctrl-Alt-Del > Processes and see what's running.

You, your missus, or your offspring has been looking at porn/downloading stuff on the sly/thinking about buying a caravan*. The net result of this is an annoying peice of software that will do what you have described whichever page you're looking at.

That link has malwarebytes anti malware - it is to computers as BA baracus is to a shed containing an old van, a lawnmower and a petrol pump - it can fix anything. Should take less than 15 minutes to reslove the issue.

Just as a quick update....
I don't quite understand computers some times. Whatever was going on has ceased!
I rolled back to the computer to an earlier date than the one before and that seems to have got rid of but whatever was creating the pop ups!
