Getting the Pedders kit fitted. The standard one, not the coilover set. Unfortunately I can't stretch to the adjustable financially. I currently have the older AVO? coilover system fitted. It's as noisy as hell. Rattling at the back, grinding and groaning metal at the front end and I've had the boys at Monkfish check them over twice now. They say they are fine, but getting on a bit now. The car has done over 50k miles on them so I think it's time to get it changed whilst I have the cash.

I've asked for the low setting rather than super-low as you know what it's like for speedbumps round our way. I'm a bit concerned that the ride might be a little harsh as it cannot be adjusted, but I never adjusted the kit I have on there now. It seems quite hard at the moment and I don't mind it, although there is a bump on the M20 coast bound that launches my car into the air lol. Maybe I should take out the demo CV8. Any advice from people would be welcome.

As for the meet in September, I should be able to make it, just need to check with the diary (missus) for the thumbs up. I'll have a chat about it when I see you. I'll try and confim asap though.

Tempy - I believe I have the 'super-low' setting on my car. I haven't experienced the VXR set up yet but mine is pretty hard (but OK on smooth roads). It does look good being lowered but I have crashed over a few speed bumps and left a few marks on the tarmac.

I haven't even tried to go into mutli storey car parks cos it'll make a right mess I reckon.

I've had the headers/sports cats done too so whether they sit slighlty differently underneath or not i'm not sure but they look pretty big when you look under the car.

I think if I were going to fit some new stuff it would be the 'low' setting as well rather than the 'super-low'.
