Monaro VXR500 for £20k?
Discussion
Hey all
I've finally sorted myself out and from next month I'll be looking to buy my Monaro
I would ideally like a VXR500, preferably one of the original spec but a retro fit one would be fine too. My budget will be £20k, am I likely to get one do you think? Or will I either have to try and find some extra cash (unlikely actually, given how much I've spent on 'other things!
) or maybe look at a non-supercharged version?
I notice there are two cars on Pistonheads right now, one an 'official' VXR500 and one which has a retro fit supercharger, and they are £22k and £21k respectively. I realise they probably belong to people on here so I don't want to offend anyone by starting a debate on pricing etc, but just wondered whether this means I'm unlikely to get one within my budget. So close, but not close enough
Thanks once again for any advice!

20k should get you a SC one although they dont come up that often. Make sure its been looked after properly and the more mods you get for the price the better as none are cheap if you have to pay for them yourself. AP's are a must have really with a SC as is uprated suspension etc etc.
