My back tyres are nearly shot and so I wondered what's the widest rear tyre I can run on stock VXR8 wheels without bodywork manipulation?

Also any recomendations from you seasoned folk?

aren't they 275 width anyway - how much more do you want lol, try living with the skinny monaro tyres if you think 275 aint enough.

I don't think anything bigger than 285 is recommended on a 9.5" rim.

Yeah Mysty has 295's on his but they look large. My 285's are real close to the inner guard. But should be find to fit.

285's on the front aswell? Are these readily available or do they take some seeking out?

how do they feel compared to the potenza's.

i use t1r's on my s2000 and found that the sidewalls are not as stiff as the potenzas were.

i cured this with higher tyre pressures.

i would never go back to pots, the wet grip of the toyos are brill and in this country thats what mattersrolleyes

On that note has anyone read the falken review on the tyre website? They solved the issue of the unnerving extra rear wheel steer at high speeds by increasing the tyre pressures........hehe
