Wheel Arch Underseal?
Discussion
Hi there
my trailing edge of the rear wheel arch is getting a bit kojak'd and i have been thinking about what to do with it. there is a plasticised paint that a lot of manufacturers use for the sills of cars.. I think tetrion or waxoyl do one i was planning to spray the wheel arches with it comes in cans in black, and then spray in with top coat the half inch or so wheel arch lip easy to feather in the lacquer with the edge of the main bodywork...
it is likely to be a early spring fine weather job for the glossy paint but just might to the black underseal paint stuff first..not that rust is a problem!

Done it! Fifteen hours of work or so and my arches and chassis look brand new. Well worth the effort - I haven't got a garage so I made a make shift shelter out of tarpalin (sp?). In all honesty my chassis was pretty good anyway but I stripped back the flakey bits, hammerited then waxoyled regardless and 'painted' hammerite 'stone chip', tar like stuff all round the arches...well worth it - looks the bizzo. Also did the front valance and either side of the exhausts.
