18" spiders for a cerbera
Discussion
Can anyone save me some money? I,ve just bought my dream car, a 4.2 Cerbera and while I was at the dealer (Peter Smiths) asked how much to have a set of 18" spiders fitted. I was told £1750, which I thought was a bit steep to say the least. Is it me just being tight or can you get them cheaper?

You should be able to pick the tyres up for about £550 off the 'Net, and I got my second hand wheels for £240 cash. I'd suggest ringing round a couple of the independents to see if they can source some for you. Then just add an hour or two's labour for fitting, balancing, stops on the steering, etc.
You pay for what you get though!
18inch ans Spider...
Can spell not exactly 'round' wheels.
At least through a reputable source, they are more likely to be straight..
um..
or do I mean round
)
Seriously on any performance car you need the rims properly balanced and perfectly in order.
Most reasons for selling rims are that they are either dinged.. warped or flat spotted.
