Picked up some tricks from ls1.com.au

First for Audio Options including setting a 24hr time display

Turn the ignition key to accessories

Make sure the audio unit is switched off with just the time and date on display.

Press the right arrows on the track button, the right arrows on the disc button and the volume/power button on the right all at the same time and hold. Hold for about 7 to 10 seconds.

The unit will now display on the LCD screen ‘Service Mode’ and then automatically go into its menu. It will time out in about 10 seconds if you don’t action the menu.

The menu will display among other things the 12/24 hour clock mode. Scroll with the menu button on the left and use it the same as you would for your normal menu operations.

Once the setting has been changed exit out. When you do, the audio unit will start to load the first disc if you have any in the player. It will take about 20 seconds to reset itself so be patience.

Second if you press both dimmer and fog buttons at once at night its supposed to go into stealth mode or something where it turns off most interior lights and dash gauges.

--

Finally in front of the Battery under the boot trim may be an audio AMP which will allow you to slightly up the Bass on the stereo.

.

When I get mine back from its clutch repair Ill test them all out smile

Mine already shows a 24 hour clock so I guess I don't need the first one. Regarding the second one, I don't even remember the car having a 'fog button'. Isn't this switched via the main light switch?

All you need to do is press & hold both dimmer buttons. It turns all dash lights except the speedo off.

Will try the 1st one later as the am/pm clock is annoying me.

RE night mode - read the manual

Its in there where it turns off every interior light except the speedo.

It's the two buttons above the headlight control that you use to make the dash lights go brighter or dimmer - just hold em both down for a couple secs. To cancel press either button.

I't squite cool as it also switches off the dials and gauges (not just the lights) so when you switch back on all the dials rotate from the idle to their current position. All it needs is a sound effect of something big starting up.

The "Stealth mode" setting is in the handbook.
