I haven't seen this film in a while and got to watching it this morning before work. I remember seeing it in the theater and having high hopes for it but left thinking it could have been better. I have seen it since then but thos morning I decided that it was actuallu done very well. A bit sluggish at times, although I loved the cast! It gets an A++ for the premise in my book. J. Moore is hot in a weird way. *** spoiler warning*** Did any notice when she got shot the cars front windshield shattered but later when they escape the Fish compound it is put back together? ***END SPOILER*** I have to admit that the movie stirred my soul and I seriously got angry at the portrayal of how they everyone treated each other. I would seriously do everything I could to destroy the power at hand. It stirred my righteous side much like V for Vendetta did.

I really loved this in the cinema, and have revisited a number of times on DVD.

I enjoyed the film in general but what really stood out for me were some of the long single shots (like the ambush in the woods when they're driving) which are just excellent and I remember rewinding and rewatching those bits to try and find where the cuts were. smile

I'd definitely recommend it to anyone as a solid action film that also makes you think.

yes

There are a few cuts in the refuge camp "single shot" scene, e.g. when they go inside the abandoned bus, and where they round a dark corner going up the stairs in the building.

I seem to remember from the "making of" that the ambush scene was one shot?!

I believe there are only two "true" single shot scenes, the ambush scene and the scene near the end as they come out of the building with all the soliders, the tank and the blood on the camera glass.

I remember seeing a making off type thing where they explain how they set up the ambush shot with a special collapsing windscreen so the camera can travel into the car from outside in one shot.
