I just recently watched this movie again and forgot how damn good it is. Its one of tarantino's best, original art so to say, not like his newer stuff which I find somewhat disheveled and a bit too slap stick for my taste. But PF, Mr Wolf in his NSX, very entertaining. I was cracking up when there stumbling over the chick who OD'd and then jab her in the heart. Brilliant acting.

you know that still shot they always show when Sam and John are both pointing their guns, travoltas is pointing on an odd angle and it always annoys the hell out of me!

I never really liked it as much as everyone else did to be honest and all my friends think I am weird. So feel free to think the same smile

Maybe I need to give it another shot. It's been many years..

Don't like it as much as resevoir dogs, but still an excellent film - too many classic scenes to even bother trying to have a favourite (although brucie testing out the weapons probably takes it)

If you follow their line of sight they are both looking in the direction that John is pointing so its Sam that is cocking up the pic smile

Is that not taken from the scence where they are collecting the briefcase from the dealers and there is two of them sitting on the sofa hence each gun covering a different dealer.

Yes but its the bit when they have just been shot at, hense the holes in the wall behind them. They should both be pointing at the guy with the gun they are about to shoot.

May just be a dodgy camera angle.

Possibly not....if you watch the film again the bullet holes are in the wall before the guy comes out of the bathroom and shoots at them.

But they only raised their guns when they shot someone, if you remember Jules was eating a burger and having a drink and certainly was not bothered about covering anyone.

There were two dealers in the room, one laying on the couch which would have been bottom left of that scene under the windown and the other guy was sitting at a table eating his burger. They were not covering the guy on the couch as he had already been shot by this point.

They did not raise their guns like that until they had been shot at, regardless if the holes were already there.
