). Tuscan has been doing nothing for two months now. Couple of TVR's passing by in Septembre on their way to Millau; will join them for a day or two.)da_murphster it is supposed to be checked by dipping not screwing. In otherwords when you have unscrewed it, kill the engine and replace without screwing it in.
Also you should always check it after the same style of driving. Hard driving always check it after hard driving, slow driving always check it after slow driving.
Cool it. drive it slow to warm and check it. Cool it, then warm it then drive it hard and check it. Cool it warm it and then drive it slow and check it - you will see that the reading varies but (assuming your engine is not using oil) it actually does not use any. Hard driving will give a lower reading.
