Hiya 
There's been a few suggestions knocking about for future forum events.
Jez was suggesting a SRR day at Vixpys some time in October
Gareth also suggested some repeat drag day at Shakey's again in October
Now with the arrival of "Thunder Road" i'm getting a tad excited:bounce

I know there are a few days already booked toward the end of the month. The Ring trip and Stevenage meet. They're around the 20th. As we've learnt from past experiences the month has no effect on the weather
Jez cant we book Vixpy's for two weekend's after or before the Drag day? Wonder how his diary's looking. I'm really keen to see if i have gained much with the work that's been done.

No Jez, I didn't book for that reason. We are looking at 25th 26th now, if Jerry gets back to me sometime. I wondered why it had gone dead for SRR. I have to say there is a really smart brand new Dyno around the corner from us here in Loughborough.We are going in there to do some testing on 4th Sept, so he can get to know these V8's ?????????????????????????????????????????????

So events for 12th, 18th and 25th October......hmmm, don't think we'll max out on the turn out for all these?
Just an observation,but IMHO I think they'd be better spread out a bit more if possible?

I'm with TR as I've never maxed my car out before,
so would be interesting to see what it can do....but I don't reckon I'd then do Shakeys the weekend after....... Thoughts please peeps?

Worth noting that the timing gear for TR will be Xmas tree light and will also give 1/4 time aswell as 1 mile time and speed! BOGOF
I think that there are a combination of events which make another drag day unlikely this year, and partly (mostly) my fault:
1. I didn't communicate with Jez sufficiently re SRR leading to confusion. Sorry for this.
2. I still have not heard back from Jerry at Shakey's ref the 26th Oct and we need plenty of time to fill up the places. (Not his fault he has got plenty on his plate)
3. With the proposed Thunder day so close I think everyone will have burned their petrol budgets by the 26th anyway.
I will make up for this by having an extra special Drag day next year, weather permitting.
