Around London and motorway cruising - my driving requirements.

Would a 996 Targa with PSM hold its own as well as a 996 C4?

Not quite sure what you mean, but in terms of performance there is nothing in it. You'll need to decide if you want 4WD or not.

I have a 2000 model C4. But I rather fancy a 3.6 Targa.

Targa's are quite rare too, and seem to have no downsides over a regular Coupe compared to previous generation targa's.

A couple of PH'ers here have Targas and seem to love 'em

996 targas generally not the best of sellers, better of with C4 for resale

Hi I own a Targa, it is lovely. It looks great and it is rare. May be it is not in demand (some people say), but when I wanted one there was none available. If you search Porsche website there wouldnt be more than 10 targas available. So that should equate supply demand issue. If you like Targa - go for it. It is very nice to drive indeed.
