I am currently having some Carbon Fiber wheels made but unfortunately the company manufacturing these wheels have never made them for a Murcielago before so it's all new.

My problem is I have a 2002 with Speedline Wheels and the early rubbish brakes, I need to get these wheels made to the same offset & spec etc as the hercules Wheels as I am also looking to upgrade the brakes to the later Gallardo Style and my current wheels will not accommodate the upgrade.

So what am I asking

For someone who lives local to Chippenham (address below) who may just happen to be driving in the area at some point in the near future on a weekday, to pop in for 10 mins and have the dimensions taken from the wheels. For peace of mind they are a Racing wheel specialist who deal with super and hyper-cars on a regular basis and every car would be taken (they are not a bunch of Muppet's)

If you can help please either reply to this topic or PM me ...many thanks

Or alternatively are there any knowledgeable people out there who can get me the technical spec dimensions, stud, Bore & offsets this would be equally as good how ever we have had two conflicts in doing this (web searches)

Any help would be much appreciated

Mark i maybe able to help you with this problem next week once i have finished the cars in my workshop over the weekend .

I was with the front man of dymag at the pistonhead show this january on the lepsons alloy wheel stand .

He has been into my workshop for a quick meeting last year too .

Meeting was about some discount for me due to lepsons contact .

Long story short , Lepsons paint the mag centers for dymag in many different colours to suit the customers request .

I have been working along side lepsons for many years in the same estate ,

I do know lepsons did and i still think have a spare set of late shape Murci wheels and i removed a set of 3 piece forged gallardo wheels and fitted standard back on last year for lepsons and may have them still too .

i could pop over to lepsons see if they still have the murci wheels , if so could measure them , and speak direct with dymag for you , or even better just get a couple of wheels sent direct to dymag for you .

If the wheels have gone i am sure another set will be along in a few weeks for me to measure anyway .

come to think of it why have dymag just not contacted lepsons anyway ????

The branch next to me refurbish 700 wheels a week alone , nearly all the wheels are M power , AMG and supercar/hypercar wheels .

Hi Mark spoke to lepsons owner on the weekend and been over to them this morning (all 40 foot walk) , the wheels are slightly damaged wheels the exact same ones as your car has furious so thats no help .

Can not believe that dymag have not got the contacts to find out the information you/they need thou .

Myself and lepsons owner are racking our brains at the mo , in the past lepsons has had a quite a few of such wheels you are after .

I have a contact with Verdi (yellow lambo on my site is a family member) and The ferrari centre so dont give up hope yet as well as lepsons trying to find the wheels .

On a side note about the carbon/mag wheels have you asked what happens when and if you curb the carbon rim ????

The fact that i was very close to buying a set for my car and may still when i asked what happens if you curb the wheel can they be refurbed (which myself and lepsons think you will not be able too) i never got an answer back .

The centers are in magnesium for people who did not know and the rim is real carbon fibre , the 2 are joined together at dymag using fixings that can be ONLY removed by dymag for good reasons .
So if you curb the wheel center or rim then its a trip back to dymag only for refurb . wink

I have a plan with your car mark for all the up and coming ideas you are intending on doing .

I will email you very soon with the plan i have and see if you likey biggrin
