Wiggle or Chainreactioncycles are good, you could also try stif.

TBH I buy whatever is on sale or it's the white leathers paradox in full effect.

If you want discounted top end stuff, then the usual suspects as mentioned above are good. Leisure Lakes are also worth a look in. Not sure how Merlin do for clothing, I've always found them to be good for components. Evans have a sale on at the moment...

If you want middle of the road, unbranded but functional stuff, Decathlon are surprisingly good.

I'd recommend the DHB or sixsixone gear for the best value for money.

For vfm them prob DHB stuff from wiggle or even Edinburgh bikes stuff isnt bad, madison (ultimate pursuits) have their own branded stuff now which doesnt look bad either.

+1, both excellent VFM brands IMO.

I also like Endura stuff: Hummvee baggy shorts are excellent, their Baa Baa merino tops are great and still amazing VFM.

I also seem to get on well with Cannondale-branded clothing but it's not the cheapest. Seem to fit me well but I usually pick up what I can if I see it cheap on any of the usual online shops.

Gore make excellent jackets/waterproofs too.
