Hi,

Feel very stupid for having to post this..............

I have a 2000 (X-reg) Audi A3 1.8T and the drivers side front indicator bulb has just blown. Can i figure out how to get at it to change it.........can i F*ck!!!

I've never had this problem with any of my previous cars but for some reason the Audi has stumped me! I'm sure there must be some obvious answer but i cant see it - ha ha!

I'd appreciate some advice if anyone knows how to do it?

Thanks

Ben

Take it to a garage and get them to fix it. I tried with my 99 A3 T and I failed. Silly thing is you are required by law to carry them in mainland Europe!

Haven't done one in ages, but pretty sure you just take the headlight out and then its a doddle.

There should be 4 T30 screws, loosen the bottom ones a few turns and take the top two out, light should come out then.

Thanks.

Does the light then have to be re-aligned though?

technically yes, but just marking the beam on a garage door or something before hadn and checking it afterward would be fine.
