Is it me or has the tail pipe shape of the Walkinshaw exhausts changed slightly? They seem slightly "flatter" on the pics on the Walkinshaw website rather than a true oval as i've seen in other pictures?

From Walkinshaw website:-
http://www.walkinshawperformance.co.uk/wp/2008/uk/...

From the LS3 Autocar test a year ago mentioned as the V8 supercar exhaust:-
http://www.autocar.co.uk/contentImages//Car/Vauxha...

Pentagon Vauxhall have the Walkinshaw V8 Supercar and Performance exhausts listed at £810 inc fitting (option to add a 5% discount code on that as well).

I believe (maybe wrong) that the bi-modal exhaust has a slightly rounder tip compared with the standard................

Hmm Evo state this is the Performance exhaust and not the bi-modal and this looks very much oval?

yes I see what you mean but Richard did have the normal pipes fitted, it may just be the angle...

Depends which angle you look at them............

That Walkinshaw shot is a Clubby R8. Note the badges and lack of rear foglight. Might be different tailpipes from the ones we have here. Would be best to call WPUK if you plan to order one and need to know.

OK good spot. Would seem odd they'd have different designs though for the same car essentially.

The Walkinshaw electronic switching exhaust is the Bi modal and is more expensive.

007VXR, do you mean the Wortec or the Walkinshaw is best?! (IYO)

my mate painterman (sam( has wortec catback on his vxr8 ..sounds the nuts

headers more important with monaros than vxr8 ..lots of people just do the catback
