I just saw that... and he was running a full StediCam rig as well cloud9

Didn't get a good look at the camera and the model of the SteadiCam rig, but he could well be placing £60k + in the hands of two-wheeled broom handle. If the batteries ran out on that thing and he fell over he'd do some seroius damage to his wallet!

Segways are also illegal both on the roads and on public pavements/paved areas.

They are awesome. Wifie and I hired a couple for a day in Florence a few years ago. Superb they were!

Bugger! I was miles off. But clearly it was wishful thinking because I'm off to Singapore, KL and various other spots in November and that seemed like a BRULLIANT! thing to do

And they were using one or a couple at The Open (golf) and that wasnt exactly a perfect road surface....
