good to see some proper horsepower coming out of the duratec
(watching the gearbox solution closely)

Nos is even more effective in a turbo charged engine so could be 400bhp easily... also helps spool up and everything so you cant guage anything about the engines performance without the Nos.
They could however be using the Nos just to keep things in check, ie for combustion cooling etc etc and just putting in a very small shot... but still when the Nos runs out it will revert to a much lower state of tune.
Guess it does show that the internals can take that kind of power tho

the thing that amazes me is it uses a stock AER bottom end !
Yeah, but as Arty says, for how long? It's always interesting doing VMAX at Bruntingthorpe. There's always some 'mega' HP claims by some people, but nearly 2 miles of full throttle sorts the dyno queens from the properly sorted cars. There were 2 (non Noble) cars at the end of the runway with fire engines trying to save them last time, as various bits of their engines had given up.
Hmm very mis-leading from the op not mentioning the NOS.
Can't agree about thr cheating bit though. you pays your money you take your chance.
I suspect that the op won't use such a big hit after he does the first crank, valve-head or piston crown though
Clearly a Drag strip merchant.IMO.
