Yoga is excellent for posture. Be sure to do the various forms properly though to get maximum benefit.

Yes, yoga and pilates. To make sure you're doing it properly, you really need a teacher to check your posture.

Cheers all, I think it is due to me neglecting the "pushing" muscles during my years of climbing.

Also, it will help to have your seat 'bolt upright' & not reclined when either driving or as a passenger in a car.

We are only as strong as our weakest link and in many men's case it is the 'inner unit' which lets us down.

Think lower abs and pelvic floor muscles (which in turn have an effect on our hip flexors)

Here are a couple of good links -

http://www.coachr.org/innerunit.htm

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/sonnon17.htm

What they all say is if you just do convential core exercises like planks, crunches etc and neglect the 'inner unit' you still won't have a good posture.
