Haven't got a clue which subsection this should go in.

I've been a bit of Paul Smith fan for a while - Notts. lad done good and all that...

Anyway I promised myself one of his wallets when my current cash receptacle expires, being a bit too busy to call into town at the moment I did a quick search on the net and found this particular site:

http://www.paulsmithoutlet.net/

Is it legit? The prices seem a little too good to be believed. Especially the wallets. I'm guessing it might just be old season clearance, but I'm not too fussed about that, I know the wallet design I want.

Anybody used it before?

ETA: Its the fact the email address is a g-mail account and the lack of a phone number set the alarm bells ringing a bit.

They do look very very cheap. Even without the discount!!

I have a naked lady wallet and i'm sure it was over £100.

very fishy at those prices. if you want a genuine one cheap, go to a paul smith outlet store.

I've got the wallet with the mini in and the RRP wasn't £40. £100 from memory.

Steer clear.

Thats what I expected to pay, ebay has a few that go for £40 - but I'm guessing those are just ones off that particular site and being resold.

Too good to be true then.

I just give mine a wipe down with hot water every now and then.

I have the Mini one and again, sure it's a 3-fig cost. You can find them on eBay and *some* are genuine but not all.

Why not drop the main PS website a line and ask whether they recognise this site?

I bought the coloured barcode wallet from Port Solents outlet shop last year it was £115 IIRC, lasted well.

Normally if things seem to good to be true they are. Beware

Pfffft.

Real men use money clips or, when a clip isn't big enough, carry a roll of cash in their pocket.

Watch Donnie Brasco and see what Lefty says.

Don't buy one with a purple lining. Looks great in the shop but turns browny black over time which looks awful.

I've got a leather Mont Blanc wallet which was a gift. It was pricey but looks as good 2 years on as the day I got it, really good quality leather and stitching!

PS wallets, are 3 figures i am afraid, judging by the Ebay like photos i would suggest that the authenticity is extremely questionable.

In other words, they are probably fake...or they are retuned due to faults.
