Well, if what I've been reading is correct, your question is actually who's is going to last sub 10 seconds, rather than who's is going to make it down the strip! hehe

I think that skyline cerbie might take the number one spot for sub 10 secs, wasnt he running some big-arse turbo???
The question is when will ALL the project cerbies get completed... there are a few, since coming back to these forums I've tracked down a few outside of these forums too, very very interesting stuff in the near future... unfortunately non of them run AJP engines...

Brummie, you're running close to 600 horses now right? are you hooking well off-the-line?

I wonder if Brummie is speaking to his friend Micky (Thompson) regarding even more traction !? smile

By Skyline Cerbie do you mean the one ZCars were doing?

I've been told its finished now, but quite a few months ago on a ZCars visit we were told that it wasn't to be road legal, but for Time Attack. The 4*4 part of the conversion looked great, shame (well am assuming) they didn't do that bit as the basis of a drive in drive out 4*4 conversion hehe.

Cool what other ones have you heard of? It would be great to see a post with details of each project, one or two photos with predicted specs from each project owner. I suppose many want to keep the details close to their chests until they're finished though..

Ash, is your Phoenix with the big power AJP likely to run any time soon? I'd love to see what a forced induction AJP could do... There are a couple of big power speed 6's being build now for Sags, I'm surprise no one has charged an 8 yet??

Projects I know of (sorry if some of these werent supposed to be mentioned, I wont give up all info)

1) The one a few people know of, the skyline cerbie
2) The M3 Cerbie
3) The supra engined cerbie being built in peterborough
4) 4 x LSx Cerbera conversions currently underway (1 of which is being blown too, not sure if the guy has gone with turbos yet)
5) Shelby 650HP powered Cerbera in Hampshire - still in design stage, fitting issues I believe.
6) The mitsubishi powered cerb
7) The AJP 6 litre cerbera

Thats the Cerbies....

And over 7 combination of Tuscans/Tamoras/T350's getting the yank treatment, the main 3 companies who are doing these conversions are NOT tvr guys, mainly private hot-rod builders.

Oh and dont forget the Speed 12 replica project too which I think will take the crown when done.

Most of the owners of the above dont come on here or just dont want to say anything because they cant be arsed to debate things with people who lose their mouths and get all personal over pure banter.

I am learning of a new project every week though! Now I got more time on me hands to track these interesting projects down... the shelby conversion sounds very interesting, from what I heard from the horses-mouth - shelby + tree didnt get on well, engine survived though.... smile

I doubt it, most of them are just going for stock HP, the shelby one i believe is never going to make public appearances, guys an old goat who dont care for such things....

And as someone has already said, the ZCars cerbie is only for TimeAttack...

Which means you'll be holding the fastest road-going cerbie trophy for a lot longer than you believe wink

angelAsh meet Graham (its his speed 12 project)

BTW in your travels you haven't come across anyone with a Cerb needing a new engine?
I ask because once I have a car it will meet another (but milder) 6.8l LS engine that will be number 5 on your LS Cerb list.

Who's got 550hp at the fly? That should roughly be enough to do it with a 1300kg kerbweight. Providing you can get the traction...... laugh
